Half term is a good opportunity to continue your routine checks for head lice. Please remember the best treatment is the wet comb method, continuing until the lice are gone. Please see the following guidance provided by the BSAK School Nurses. Thank you
As part of our study of persuasive techniques, the children of Year 3 have been making radio ads – and brilliant ones! They have been promoting Year 3, and all the wonderful resources the children use, from the science lab to the ICT suite and the playground.

The Year 3 team would like to invite you to visit your child’s classroom for an opportunity to have a look at their work. This will be an informal gathering on Wednesday 1st June between 2.15pm and 3pm. We look forward to seeing you then. James and the Giant Peach On Sunday, Year 3 went to the theatre. We watched the stage production of the Roald Dahl classic 'James and the Giant Peach.’ It is the story of an orphan who has been sent to live with his disgusting and vile spinster aunts in their equally vile house on top of a hill. Lazy and cruel, they make their little nephew’s life a misery, until one day, something fantastically wonderful happens. Through music, dance and comedy (not to mention a flying peach), James and his new found insect friends made an extraordinary journey which was fraught with enemies, dangers and excitement, taking them halfway around the world in a giant peach. It was a real treat to be able to watch this acclaimed West End show that has been adapted for stage by David Wood. SLIP, SLAP, SLOP! As part of our PSHE programme we were delighted to welcome Mrs Saunders from our Nursing Department to talk to the children about sun safety. This is such an important topic for the children to be aware of especially living in our sunny climate here in Abu Dhabi. Thank you to Mrs Saunders for such an informative talk.
