We have been using plasticine and plaster (under close supervision) to make a cast and create our very own ‘fossils’. Some definite archaeologists in the making!

What a lovely day we had at the park to round off our Well Being Week. The children took part in a range of activities including a plant hunt, animal research and sound walk. Many of them have commented on how much they enjoyed the opportunity to be out of the classroom and they absolutely loved having time to play in the playground. A big thank you to all the parents who came along to help out.

Last week, all classes visited The Club as part of the Primary Activities week. They took part in activities ranging from karate, to climbing and dance. A great time was had by all. Enjoy reading some of the children’s recounts below:
On Sunday morning we hopped onto the bus to The Club and we started to sing. When we arrived we went straight to Karate. We did well, learning how to punch, kick and defend. A quick snack followed, I had strawberries and pineapple. Next we went rock climbing. When it was my turn, I started to shiver but I told myself it wasn’t a big deal and I just got on with it! When I got to the top I looked below me and it was a big drop. I frantically jumped and jumped and eventually I reached the ground. Then we had a little wander around with Mrs Czerpak. Next was lunch, it was yummy! Afterwards we did some dancing. We danced to Justin Bieber (he rules!) and Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. It was epic! We then had a final snack before returning to school on the bus. Maddi Humphreys.
Cheerfully, I got onto the bus – everyone was really loud. When we got to The Club I dropped off my bag and happily walked to Karate. I was doing Karate carefully so as not to hurt anyone. We had the yummiest lunch, I chose a hotdog and I had it with ketchup – I think it adds more flavour! After lunch we played the Animal Game. Next I found a balloon and Sophie and I played with it until it burst! Then Alyshea came and taught us some dance moves. Hattie Cottage.
On Sunday morning we went on the bus. It was very loud. The day was lovely and very hot. The first thing we did was Karate and the teacher helped us learn some Karate moves. First we did a Karate move and bowed down and said, ‘US!’ Then we had a tasty snack and I had strawberries and orange juice. After that we went to the Climbing Wall. The first two people to go were Miles and Sophia then I soon went. There were two ropes; the first one was harder than the second. I managed to get to the top of the send one. Next we had lunch; I had hotdog and fries with ketchup. Finally we did some dancing and then we had a cupcake and apple juice. We did some more dancing before returning to school. Santino Wilkinson.
