What a ‘souper’ time we had in the Food Technology room!
Creating ‘Stone Age Soup’ has certainly been the highlight of our week in Year 3 as we washed, peeled, cut, chopped and sliced our way through bags of vegetables to make delicious and unique vegetable soup. From ‘ Magic Mammoth’ to ‘Sabre Tusk Delight’, everyone enjoyed sampling these culinary delights which were surprisingly quick and easy to make, and healthy too! We could evaluate our creations to say which soup we liked best and why and by the end of the day, every pot and bowl was licked clean. Pumpkin, lentil, potato, carrot, cabbage or courgette. What was your favourite recipe? Perhaps you could recreate it at home for a family treat. Well done Year 3 students for working so independently, and also to our parent helpers for their helpful hands and guidance.
