Plan and write an adventure story with one of the following titles:
Introduction – Build up – Climax – Resolution – Ending. Think about all the features of adventure writing we have talked about in class and consider the resources below. Try to spread this work over a few days, rather than write the whole story at once. Work for 20 minutes at a time. You may like to hand write your story or type it onto the computer. You may like to add your own illustrations. Perhaps you could even write it as a chapter book.

OPTIONAL HOMEWORK We would love to see a review of a book you have read. It could be that you read the book last year, it's your favourite book of all time or you are reading it now. We intend to make a display of some examples to inspire children in Year 3 to read a variety of books
