Over the holidays, why not take the opportunity to spend some time outside taking a few close-up photographs of flowers? This time of the year there are lots of different flowering plants in the UAE. If you are travelling, then we’d love to see some of the flowers you might discover while you are visiting different countries. We hope you will find many of the types of flowers that might have inspired Georgia O’Keeffe – our focus Artist at the start of Term 3. It is up to you how you present your photos. You may like to print them as small postcard sized prints or make a powerpoint of them. You could even make a book. It is entirely up to you! As we will be starting our Georgia O’Keeffe work straight after the holidays, please bring in your work during the first week back to share with your class. Happy snapping!
